Our women-only photo retreat takes place in the charming white village of Cómpeta, nestled in the mountains of the Sierra Almijara. It’s the perfect starting point for photographic exploration and personal slow-down.

📸 Monday – Arrival & First Photowalk

Arrival at Málaga Airport and transfer to Cómpeta.
In the evening, we explore the magical light and textures of the historic village streets during our first photowalk – a gentle start to connect with your surroundings.

🧘 Tuesday – Yoga, Creative Warm-Ups & Nature

Begin your day with a gentle yoga session, followed by a photo briefing with creative inspiration and hands-on exercises to ease into flow.
In the afternoon, we head into Axaquira National Park, where endless nature motifs await your lens.

🎭 Wednesday – Portrait & Mood Photography in El Acebuchal

A soulful day: In the mystical village of El Acebuchal, we dive into the world of portrait and mood photography.
This hidden gem offers poetic backdrops and emotional depth for expressive female portraits.

💻 Thursday – Workflow & Photo Picnic

After a shared breakfast, we review your work so far with an open and constructive workflow and image discussion.
In the afternoon, enjoy one of the retreat’s highlights: a photo picnic at the historic hydroelectric plant – Fábrica de la Luz. Nature, creativity and connection meet here in perfect harmony.

✈️ Friday – Departure

After a final coffee with mountain views, it’s time to say goodbye – with memory cards full of images and hearts full of inspiration.
